Ravi Computer Consultancy ("RCC", "Company", "we", "us", or "our") owns and operates the website https://rccsoft.in/ ("Website") and develops, sells, and supports the Miracle range of accounting and business-management software, including Miracle Account (Billing Copy & Standard Copy), Miracle Agri, Miracle Gin, Miracle Mandi, and Miracle Petro (collectively, the "Software").

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains what personal and business information we collect from visitors, prospects, and licensed customers ("you", "Client", "User"), how we use and protect it, and the choices available to you. By using the Website, requesting a demo, purchasing, installing, or using the Software, or otherwise interacting with RCC, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy.

2.1 Information You Provide to Us
  • Contact details such as name, business/firm name, designation, phone number, email address, and postal address, submitted via enquiry forms, demo requests, calls, or emails.
  • Billing and business information such as GSTIN, invoicing details, and payment/transaction records related to purchase of Software or Support Services.
  • Communications you send us, including support tickets, feedback, call recordings (where applicable), chat messages, and correspondence with our sales or support teams.
  • License and registration details, such as the Software copy/variant purchased, activation/registration codes, number of licensed users, and system details required for license issuance.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
  • Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and referring URLs when you visit the Website.
  • Usage data such as pages viewed, time spent, and click patterns, collected through cookies, log files, and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6).
2.3 Information Collected Through the Software

The Software (Miracle Account, Miracle Agri, Miracle Gin, Miracle Mandi, Miracle Petro) is primarily installed and operated on the Client's own systems/servers to process the Client's business, accounting, billing, and statutory (GST/TDS/VAT) data ("Client Data"). As a standard, on-premise/desktop-installed application, RCC does not routinely access, transmit, or store Client Data on its own servers. Limited exceptions include:

  • Data voluntarily shared by the Client with RCC's support team for the specific purpose of diagnosing an issue, restoring a backup, or providing remote assistance.
  • License-validation information (e.g., activation key, registered system ID) transmitted for online activation, where applicable to a particular Software copy.
  • Any data shared by the Client while using optional connected-banking or e-return/e-filing integration features, which may involve transmission to the relevant bank or government portal as directed by the Client.

3. How We Use Your Information

  1. To process enquiries, provide product demonstrations, and respond to sales and support requests.
  2. To generate invoices, process payments, issue license/activation keys, and maintain records for GST and other statutory compliance.
  3. To install, configure, troubleshoot, and provide ongoing technical support and Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) services for the Software.
  4. To notify Clients of Software updates, patches, statutory form changes (e.g., GST/TDS/VAT return format changes), renewal reminders, and service-related announcements.
  5. To improve the Website, Software features, and customer support quality, including through aggregated and anonymized usage analysis.
  6. To send promotional communications about new products, features, or offers, where you have not opted out of such communications.
  7. To comply with applicable legal, tax, and regulatory obligations, and to enforce our Terms & Conditions.

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

  1. We do not sell your personal information. RCC does not sell, rent, or trade personal or business information collected from Clients or Website visitors to third parties for their marketing purposes.
  2. Authorized partners/resellers – limited contact and license information may be shared with RCC's authorized resellers or support partners strictly to facilitate delivery, installation, or support of the Software in your region.
  3. Service providers – we may share information with trusted third-party vendors who assist with hosting, payment processing, SMS/email communication, or IT infrastructure, under confidentiality obligations and only to the extent necessary.
  4. Legal & statutory requirements – information may be disclosed where required by law, regulation, court order, or government/tax authority request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of RCC, our Clients, or others.
  5. Business transfers – in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to equivalent confidentiality protections.

5. Data Security

  1. RCC implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information under our control against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
  2. The Software includes optional ransomware-protected backup and connected-banking security features for select product copies; however, the Client remains responsible for securing its own systems, networks, and backups, since Client Data is primarily stored on the Client's own infrastructure.
  3. License credentials, activation codes, and account access details should be kept confidential by the Client. RCC is not responsible for loss or misuse arising from the Client's failure to safeguard such credentials.
  4. Despite our efforts, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and RCC cannot guarantee absolute security of information.

6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

The Website may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to enhance user experience, remember preferences, and analyze traffic patterns (e.g., through tools such as Google Analytics). You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; however, doing so may affect certain features or functionality of the Website.

7. Data Retention

  1. We retain contact, billing, and license information for as long as necessary to provide Software licenses and Support Services, comply with statutory record-keeping requirements (including GST and tax laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
  2. Any Client Data voluntarily shared with RCC's support team for troubleshooting purposes is retained only for the duration necessary to resolve the relevant issue, after which it is deleted or securely disposed of, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

  • You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, subject to our legitimate business and statutory record-keeping needs.
  • You may opt out of promotional emails/SMS at any time by using the unsubscribe link provided or by contacting us directly; you will continue to receive transactional and support-related communications necessary for service delivery.
  • You may request details of third parties with whom your information has been shared, where applicable.

9. Children's Privacy

The Website and Software are intended for use by businesses and individuals of legal working age for commercial/accounting purposes. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
